Nordic Walking Cambridgeshire took Part in the Over Sport Relief Mile

SportRelief2012 logoOn 25th March Nordic Walking Cambridgeshire took part in the Sport Relief’s Mile, the aim is to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around. Our goal for 2012 is to raise £60,000.

The Over Community Centre organised a great Sport Relief event at the Over Community Centre, The Doles, Over, Cambridge, CB24 5NW.

We had 16 Nordic Walkers who take part, activities on the day included the main event –we  Nordic Walked the 6 miles, then we returned to the Community Centre to enjoy all the entertainment on offer. Thank you all for taking part in this important event and to help make Sport Relief 2012 the most successful yet!
